It’s getting there. There’s still no high school and no town hall. There are still some folks living in trailers in front of their gutted homes as they wait for govt grants. Most of the live oaks further south are dead from saltwater intrusion. 85% of homes are raised now.
Four years later, they are still waiting on FEMA, and the administration is gutting that department. Hopefully, you and your family are high and dry.
