"We will take a cut of your business profits if we choose. Capitalism is dead for you."
I hope all the corporate CEOs are happy now. youtu.be/6Qp5AZZ-N2A
Oh, so the Trump administration is getting into Socialism?
Communism.
I stand corrected.
Corn or potato?
Government taking ownership of corporations- communism. Tax payer money used for the benefit of citizens -socialism. Government +corporations + military +law enforcement, without consent of citizens - fascism.
Intel warned international sales risk because of US ownership. Also, other US Government entities converting their grants into equity. It’s not over, folks. www.reuters.com/world/china/...
If you thought they would stop at 10% of Intel, you misunderstood... yet again. They do a toe-in-the-water first, make sure nobody can stop them, then they go for much larger things.
Nationalizing private businesses?!?!
So the Federal workforce will increase under Trump? He’s as fickle as a teenager.
Nice company you have there……….
This is wrong
At what cost? (i mean monetarily, not just the socialism.)
The free market party wants the government to take ownership of private companies? Like State-owned enterprises in communist countries?? WTF. Socialism for the rich.
...great...if the US is going to "nationalize" industries, then the American public should get something out of it...let's go "Nordic"... nhwstat.org/welfare/abou...
My clue to sell. They sniff and I’m out.
I thought Republicans were all about capitalism and small government. What a bunch of liars.
And the RISK of this socialism will fall upon the shoulders of common taxpayers. 😠
Yes, socialism for rich corporations who evade taxes. Nothing for Medicaid or food programs for those who need it. That’s the way I see it, considering government taking a stake in these corporations are done with taxpayers money.
Where is this money coming from? When appropriated? What is the kickback schedule for Connie & Crew?
If we're going to start socializing corporations like this, maybe we should socialize our national oil reserves and actually get paid for our natural resources like the Gulf States do. 🤔
I thought it was the “lefties” who were trying to turn the US into Venezuela?
They're starting to treat our government like a personal business they own themselves.
That is textbook socialism. Why isn't @reuters.com explaining that US capitalism is being attacked by the Trump regime? This is the most important financial story since the Great Depression
State control of key industries... There's a word for that. It's on the tip of my tongue, what is it?
I keep asking if the CEO or even the board has the legal authority to issue new shares for no cost, w/o shareholder approval, but now I'm wondering if they are just letting trump say "he" got 10% of Intel for nothing, because they know he has dementia and they're just going to let him believe that?
