Listen to your own words: "you have no idea how much money I make or what my shop means to me." Screw your double-standard,as you could care less about what my shop means to me---it's my whole livelihood and my entire family's income. Stop paying your taxes if you don't want to fund ICE.
Slow your roll. I didn’t tell YOU what to do, you made assumptions and cruelly and deliberately personally insulted ME and MY work. You can’t close your shop, and I wouldn’t ask you to. I’m brown and live in California, I can’t keep my shop open and face myself in the mirror. It’s that simple.

My whole family relies on it for medical, food, roof over our heads. My partner works with me and it is our sole income, so yes---DON'T BOYCOTT ETSY. We fight fascism hard in our family and get out there to make a difference. Many do on Etsy. It is such a fiery liberal site sans a few assholes.

No, it's not insulting. You just took it that way. People often sell minimal amounts as they use it as a side hustle or a hobby. That's not a bad thing. If someone makes $25/wk., of course it would be easier to walk away from than someone who supports their whole family on a viable income.

No, that's not true. I was making a point about how people are expected to just abandon their businesses on Etsy, as if that’s the simplest thing in the world. If you stopped paying your taxes, you’d face serious consequences too—your income would be taken away.

I’m permanently disabled and rely on that extra income to pay OOP medical expenses, you’re not the only one. My sales in good times were enough to cover that and more, now I don’t know how or if I will be able to make that up.
