Very sweet! My parents also made it to their golden wedding anniversary and we rented a vintage car to take them to the celebration in style. They loved it!
They were just shy of 54 years before we lost dad to pancreatic cancer in 2006, mum died in 2022 but they shared 12 years of retirement together at least 😕
That’s very hard, such a malicious disease. Mine passed away several years ago, too, my mother suffered from dementia in her last years, another dreadful disease. They did a lot of traveling while they still could and had a good time together.
