Let Newsome be the crazy attack dog, but he’s another egomaniac so I wouldn’t want him to run for president. We need a lot of people to do all the shit work, but our ultimate candidate should be the anti-Trump - serious and not interested in memes.

Gavin Newsom is one of those doing something that doesn't seem like he is being held back FROM doing it. A handful of Democrats have been loud about what is happening, but too many aren't getting half the backing Newsom is getting.

As a governor, he has a bigger machine to support him. But there is plenty of space for other voices, and nobody is filling it. All I’ve seen this past week is foppish bitching about Newsome filling a void that is open to anyone.
