I'm a mood reader generally I read 3-6 books at a time (I've started more than this but if it didn't keep me interested at the moment I start reading something else). Lately I have picked up a bunch of ARC reads though so I have been trying to work through those to support more Indie authors.

Randomly based on how I'm feeling in the moment 💕

No order, and mood. Such a mood reader now...

By genre, first I read everything Science fiction, then horror, then fantasy, then just fiction, MG, etc. Always in that order.

Right now mine is a stack of books sat on the floor. I add to it depending on need and priority; and pick by whim, vote or deadline. When I clear this - hopefully next month 🤞 - I will do something different, as this pile has been sat here for months while I slowly demolish my way through it. 🪐📚💙

It's "supposed" to be an ordered system with a dated series of streams of when things are due for library return or publication, but then randomly, something, "ooo look" is just too tempting and leapfrogging occurs.

Due soonest at library, does it fit a challenge prompt, or my mood.

I tried ordering and sticking to that, but I ended up just picking randomly because I don't want to feel obligated to read something when I have something else I'd rather read that exact moment.
