Oh good answer I hadn't thought about that but yeah he definitely have that side. Id imagine Skullflower is in this category for a lot of folks too. I just found out a couple weeks ago about that dude's slide into right wing blood and soil vibes.

Yeah I really feel like there is this anger/nihilism that he let take over at times and I’ve really had to examine thst and be like, do I want to keep that thing going? It does seem like he kind of found peace towards the end though. Didn’t know about skull flower !

I was googling to look up something in the Skullflower discography and found a Quietus article from a few years ago about it. (Unfortunately it was right after I had bought one of his old ones on bandcamp and it kinda killed my enthusiasm to listen to it).

I understand man! The fahey stuff hasn’t stopped me from listening all the way, but it has cut my listening down quite a bit over the years.
