It's scary because I always wonder if I'm going to miss a warning sign for something fatal because I'm always in so much pain already that it doesn't register.

Oh I feel this. I refuse to go to the ER and I know someday it will probably kill me. One winter I spent three weeks in level 10 pain and my kidneys started to shut down bc of it. My doctor is lovely tho & told me I can always come in to see her if I get that bad again. I no longer can tell anymore

Having one good doctor makes a huge difference 💖 for me it's my neurologist, she's been my main doctor for over a decade 🙂
