You always make such great points!
You always make such great points!
Watched you on @thebeat.msnbc.com & enjoyed the back & forth conversation about the comparison of the Tea Party & No Kings protests, and what it all means, so much, I'm now going to be one of your loyal Cdn followers. BTW, No Kings had over 11M protesters iaw @50501movement.bsky.social, not 5M.
I'm surprised France hasn't asked for it back!
You made such a great point on Ari's show just now about the media and Dem establishment NOT embracing the powerful No Kings momentum. Where is the "No Kings" candidate? They won't even adopt the name. Meanwhile, today the NYT had a story with a headline saying Dems are broke and depressed.
Too bad you didn’t call out @morningjoe-msnbc.bsky.social for being so utterly pathetic treating Trump as if he’s a leader . Even trying to think he’ll be like President Kennedy. But you’re too nice to call them out .
Excellent segment tonight!
👏👏👏
Just saw you. Really interesting points about the difference between Dems and Rs.
Enjoy listening you, but we gave up on MSM
Brilliant as usual. Lifelong dem disgusted w/those Dems, who never fail to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. They need to strip the velcro from their gossamer courage & air nail it to a sticking place. Magats are armed w/howitzers; we're waving pool noodles. Will no one rid us of vichy Dems?
We've communicated a few times on Twitter which I no longer belong to. You made some great points on Ari tonight. With a current favorability rating of only 26%, do you have any suggestions as to how democrats can change that. Thank You. Maine Democratic Committee, Platform Committee Member
Yes - so first there is a 2 year discussion and a 20 year discussion. The 20 year discussion is fairly straightforward - we need to the party of organized labor again. I have long championed union card check, which would revitalize private sector unions.
The 2 year discussion is more complex - it would involve getting more of our top communicators on various outlets - basically what Mayor Pete does with more than a dozen Dems. A specific focus would be outreach to young voters.
I have advocated having democratic voices throughout social media regardless of affiliation for months and months now. Get out there regardless of fallout. What do we have to lose? So much win potential. Do it
Thank you. I am in Jared Golden's district. We're not to fond of him, but will work our butts off for him. My research is part of this effort. Also working to defeat Susan Collins. We have multiple great candidates for Governor.
One idea that James Carville has pushed is mid term convention that would serve a showcase for the party’s new talent and would covered by all the networks. It’s worth a shot.
Thank you. We are researching how to employ tactics congruent to your reply. We have a Union Paper Mill where Union Leaders are registered Republicans, Go figure: But we are making a play. Definitely working to identify effective and local communicators.
A new union movement focused on the service sector would be very different than the unions we have now. It would include a lot more women and minorities. There are signs of unionization at Amazon, Starbucks, etc. what we need is to unionize them on a mass scale.
I just saw you on MSNBC talking about how the best Democratic Party presidential candidates talked about positive things and hope, and you mentioned Obama, Carter and Clinton. Why did you exclude Harris? Were you not paying attention during the campaign last year? She did that A LOT.
I agree - was just naming the Dem Presidents
