I think it's bigger than him " giving away" which he has no authority to do anyway parts of Ukraine. I think he's going to announce a collaboration with Russia on Artic " Security" He has not forgotten that Canada and Greenland have stood up to him.
Trump doesn't care about Ukraine, he doesn't care about Europe or the danger Russia poses to them, he doesn't understand any of the issues involved, and he idolizes Putin. All Trump wants is any agreement he can take credit for and a Nobel prize. It's literally the only thing he cares about.
Finally, someone else “gets him”. It’s the Nobel prize people. Why? Obama. That simple.

This is it. Trump wants those headlines proclaiming he accomplished something whether he actually did or not. Putin may throw him a bone but Putin will not give in to Trump under any circumstances. He will not win a Nobel of any sort because he doesn’t deserve one.

As a fellow 🇺🇦 supporter, I never believed Trump would do right by 🇺🇦. So I didn’t get my hopes up. Even so, I would have been happy to be proven wrong. I hope Europe can pull its weight on this in the days to come. 🇺🇦 needs Europe on its team ( and vice versa, IMO). Clearly we are not on the team.
