A hallmark of the Intelligence Community is (was?) its freedom to speak truth to power. These actions to suppress that will lead to disaster. The forced assessment that Iraq had a nuclear capability led to thousands of US troops dead/damaged and trillions lost. That will be quaint in comparison.
