Twins lost 9-3 to the Nationals in a sloppy one. They are now 50-54 with four games until the trade deadline, and Sunday is slated for a bullpen game. Twins are 3-5 since the All-Star break, 10-10 in July, 19-28 since June 1, and 24-34 since the 13-game winning streak ended.

The team came out flat. They are only thinking about the trade deadline, not winning. A symptom of having ownership with zero commitment to bringing a World Championship to Minnesota. It's very very sad for longtime committed fans.

Two of the three teams below the Twins for the worst record since June 1 are the Nationals and Rockies. Teams we can’t seem to beat.

If not for that 13 game winning streak, this is a pretty bad ball club. Hard to watch as they flail around most games.

I totally agree. That winning streak was a mirage that came out of no where and disappeared just as quickly. Without the streak this team is about 20 games under .500
