I find it quite depressing that governments don't listen to our views. Anyone who doesn't condemn what Israel is doing is implicitly condoning murder and genocide.

Agreed. They are turning a blind eye because of the financial implications of doing what needs to be done. Even if that means criticising their own citizens for calling it what it is.
