Multiple human rights organizations, as well as Holocaust historians, have called it that. Including some in Israel. If it makes you personally uncomfortable to call it that. Fine. Lastly, this didn’t start on 10/7. Did the situation for Israel change on 10/7? Absolutely.

But it’s not like Gaza and the Palestinians were free before then. We need to acknowledge that Israel was committing atrocities before that date, as well as now.
