Strange that the description of what a liberal party is doesn’t fit with most of the party. Especially those in leadership, Gavin Newsom, Pete Buttigieg, Kamala Harris, etc. So try again.

Again, I disagree. You’re not even trying to be genuine if you’re making those claims.
Okay, show me how the Democratic Party supports Trans people when they are trying to put Transphobes like Newsom and Buttigieg in power? When Harris stopped supporting M4A? Biden expanding drilling? Why Democrats are running away from Affirmative Action? This is your definition of what liberalism is
You deal in absolutes (like the Sith). There is a world of difference between dishonorably discharging all trans people from the military, denying them access to healthcare and coverage, vs: “Maybe there’s a fairness question with trans women in sports.”
And why the fuck are you ceding the argument to fascists?
No, I’m saying your definition of liberalism, the one you supplied, does not describe the Democratic Party. You learned the wrong lesson from Star Wars, the prequels, which I assume you’re referencing, was about how liberalism cannot defeat rising fascism. I can write an essay why you’re wrong.
Well that doesn’t jive with history at all. Liberalism has always defeated fascism: US Civil War, KKK, Jim Crow, etc. Trump’s MAGA fascism will lose as well.
Talk about rewriting history, it was Marxists, Unionists, and Socialists who did that. Bayard Ruskin was a socialist, MLK was an anti-capitalist, A. Phillip Randolph was a Unionist. And modern liberalism didn't even exist in the Civil War, they were what we call Libertarians today.
Wow you’ve got some delusions of grandeur! The Union (Liberal democracy & capitalist) defeated the Confederacy and ended slavery. President Grant & later the FBI brought down the Klan. LBJ ended Jim Crow. All the people you named helped, but they had no power to actually make the change.
The Republican Party and Abraham Lincoln were a party that read Marx during the Civil War. We know Lincoln read the newspapers that printed Marx's essays. jacobin.com/2012/08/linc... Your point on Grant and the FBI is ahistorical. They were forced to enforce the law by leftists, not liberals. 1/2
LBJ was forced to end Jim Crow by, again, the left. Liberals were against it. The people who made change were and always have been by Socialists, Unionists, and Marxists. Liberals step in after all the work was done to take credit for the change the left created.
