I disagree. How many democracies were around during Feudalism? Yet democracies are abundant with Feudalism’s successor. Democracies need power in the hands of a wide range of the population. Power = money.

Your argument here is incoherent. It sounds like you failed to grasp the concept of Historical Materialism. If you want to understand that, GA Cohen’s Marx’s Theory of History will help you through this. If you want more democracy, try socialism. The only way for democracy to flourish.
