JD is smart, but he has zero charisma. If Trump goes tits up, it will break the spell, and there's no Trump 2.0 to replace that. JD can mouth all the platitudes and party line bullshit, but he can't cast a spell like Trump. And with the spell broken, MAGA will lose its mojo and begin to unravel.
