I am, to my great shame and horror. Over the last 10 years, I have watched every person I know either get swallowed by the cult or live in denial of where we were going. The active gaslighting by an entire society. It's been...consuming.

Sorry to hear that. I’m lucky enough to have lived my life since early childhood in a deeply blue state, in a blue region and a deep blue city. My relatives and friends are, at very worst, left of center. Thats why I get defensive about being told that we aren’t doing enough. We are very active.
