The official account stated a range of 400-450ft and 8 shots fired. It was reported that Crooks practiced regularly at a Pittsburgh area gun club that had a practice range with similar range targets. The AR15 is accurate to 400-600ft depending on the individual. What are your conclusions?
I’ve never fired an AR15.However, I could hit an approx 3 foot target at a quarter of a mile, with a 30-06, and an occasional bullseye.If he was 400-450 feet away, and he had practiced, I see no way he would have missed with 8 shots, unless the gun sights were way off.And even then, he’d compensate.
