The Albatross and The Prophecy are great recommendations too. The Albatross actually was inspired by an existing poetry called The Rime of the Ancient Marine. Most of her songs actually references a certain book or poetry like The Great Gatsby or Road Not Taken by R. Frost. Some ppl missed it tho.

The literary references add interest for me -- I'm well aware of Coleridge and the wearing of the albatross, Fitzgerald's alcoholic socialites, and Frost's fork in the road, among others. (I have an English degree.) It inspires me to listen to her music!

lurker here, you can always dive into her two albums: folklore and evermore but all of her songs got that literary feels to it like The Great War or Sad Beautiful Tragic then there's This Love which is from 1989 album. Fun fact she wrote This Love in her journal as a spontaneous poetry.
