The Great White North - Bob & Doug McKenzie (1981): The hit single Take Off featured Geddy Lee from Rush, which reached #1 in Canada. The album reached #8 in the USA. In Canada, it went 3x platinum and sold 350,000 copies. Over one million copies were sold in North America.

Strange Animal - Gowan (1985): The second studio album from Lawrence Gowan, it featured his breakthrough hits "(You're a) Strange Animal" and "A Criminal Mind". It won two Junos (out of seven nominations) and reached #5 in Canada.
