On this day in 2006, Glenn Ford died. Born in Sainte-Christine-d'Auvergne, Quebec in 1916, he was one of the biggest box-office draws from the 1940s to 1960s. In his career, he had three Golden Globe nominations. He has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and an asteroid is named for him.
