From my perspective having been in EU all summer, that message is starting to get through, but it’s not unified. The UK is going down the same fascist rabbit hole.

As an expat Brit who was just "home", where a pro-Palestinian organization is being prosecuted for speech... OK, the London Underground is still safe, but the *Labor* government scares me in ways the economy-destroying Tories never did.
