You might want to look beyond "right-wing media weirdos" in your search for views on protecting women's sports from men, because the public - including Democrats like me - are not in favour of men in women's sports, or any single-sex spaces. The courts and public sentiments have shifted.

I have no desire to degrade trans-identifying athletes. I do have the desire to keep male persons out of women's spaces, sports and facilities, regardless of how they identify. To admit men is a direct violation of the right of women to their sexual identity.

It's never about protecting anyone. Ending abortion was supposed to be about protecting children, but not from starvation OR PEDOPHILES. The whole fight against transgender people was supposed to be about protecting women and children, BUT TRUMP LOVES HIS SEXUAL PREDATORS
