BBB = Billionaire Benefits Bill Everybody else will F---ed. America will be bankrupted.
BBB = Billionaire Benefits Bill Everybody else will F---ed. America will be bankrupted.
Hence, Trump's sending the military to California and threats to escalate by arresting the state governor.
Equally frightening is the poverty level for a family of 2 is $20,440 a year and you must make less than 200% of that to qualify for cost-sharing in certain programs or benefits. ($40,880) CHIP, MEDICAID, etc.
If the election was held today Trump and the GOP would probably still win, and thats the sad part
Sadly, the only ones the Republicans care about are the wealthy 60% who voted that it will help.
60% of people aren’t wealthy.
I'm referring to the wealthy 60% who voted in the poll, not the overall population.
That’s not what the 60% is. 60% of all respondents believe that the bill would help the wealthy. It could be that every single wealthy person why was asked denied that it would help them, but regular folks know that’s exactly who it would most benefit.
You're are correct...my bad.
No worries. I’ve certainly misread things, too.
Who are these "No Effect" people? Do they read/see any news, or the they the ones cosplaying at the 🤡🌮's rallies? Honestly, who are these people?
I’ll guess the unbothered* non-voters who are either deeply cynical, uninformed/misinformed, or all of the above The “government always sucks so why bother to try” cohort. “Unbothered” doesn’t mean they won’t complain about what’s happening. Just that they won’t do a damn thing to change it.
Trumpist policy is unpopular.
It's not really a "debate" when one side's talking points are all lies.
Bold to assume there's consensus that "will hurt poor people" is a bad thing. The GOP has morphed from "trickle-down economics will help you eventually" to "let's make the people you don't like suffer." They don't even pretend they're going to help ordinary people anymore. Just hurt the Others.
"will hurt the middle class" is def not good; basically everyone considers themselves middle class
When more of the middle class figures the bill will either help or have no effect, how is this "stunning how badly"? Seems to me a continuing indictment of American stupidity and ignorance.
How are so many still oblivious to what’s in the bill and what will happen to them if it passes? There are some people with their heads buried so deep up the anal canal of the current administration that they’ll believe any BS being spewed forth. Wow.😮
it's likely they'll still pass it. they don't care anymore
IMO, This poll means nothing if the GOP passes the bill
It’s not a debate when one side lies outright. Trump and the GOP push policies they know will harm people, then rush to pass them before the truth catches up. The goal is simple: inflict damage, deny responsibility, and leave the public to deal with the fallout.
Have you made the case yet for why anyone should pay attention to you?
Keep driving that narrative, Dem leaders.
I see 53% of respondents think the middle class will either benefit from or be OK w the effects of this bill. That’s stunning. They think the rich will benefit & the poor suffer but they’re ok. Be glad you’re not poor.
This is who Trump and the GOP care about and cater to... 60% of rich people.
I still can't get over stupid that name is. Just a bunch of brain dead morons huffing each other's farts.
They’ll somehow hustle it through over the public’s objections and the issue won’t even be a blip on the midterms. United States of Amnesia.
Maybe not. GOP members are still publicly saying their not on board.
Certainly hope they can sink it!
Stunning that ANYONE thinks poor people will be helped or won't be affected. This country is so not bright.
It might go better for them if they did things people liked and could then also be truthful about it. But then, who would they be?
No amount of lipstick will turn this GOP pig of a bill desirable to the public.
Since when have they listened to the public??
Whenever members the public get rich and contribute to their wealth and campaigns.
Yes, it’s the One Percent who can move the needle and it’s usually for the GOP.
Yeah they really don’t care.
26% is an absurd number. These must be the same people who are suddenly SHOCKED about mass deportations.
I would love to talk to the 7% hurt wealthy people, lol
It's stunning that so many still don't understand the basics.
How did they find wealthy people who answer polls?
And Rs will vote for it anyway, voters be damned.
It’s not stunning when you consider the lengths they have gone to to distract from it. Like “call in the national guard” really means “my poll numbers are absolutely fucking tanking.”
Sure. "Bad." Because both the left and the right vote based on what's economically advantageous for disadvantaged folks. Sure. That looks bad to many, but looks good to MAGA and Trumpies. Of course so good for people God has favored and remove incentives for sloth for others
Stunning how a quarter to a third of them are so willfully ignorant that they think this will somehow benefit the poor and middle class folks who will be screwed to the wall by this abomination.
Who are the 7% who think Donald Trumps bill will hurt the wealthy?
The wealthy.
It's good to get benchmarks for how many ride-or-die conservatives there are (at least the 24% who claim that the BBB will help poor people)
Stunning there's 40% pretty stupid people.
Hey the public got it mostly right for once!
Well, they are going to lose a lot more, and soon. Hot of the press!
It's only a stunning failure if you measure it in a vacuum. If you measure it against the underlying truth that it will hurt, it's pretty good support for the bill.
I'm shocked the numbers are this "good"
