I am a Bible scholar and I agree. Reading his interactions with Pharisees and other religionists, I’m convinced that he was salty AF, but the writers toned down his language to make it suitable for Sunday School children.

I agree with you. I'm not a Bible scholar, but I read a bit of it here and there. Maybe it's the way I read it, but Jesus reads like he doesn't have time for the bullshit. He's sarcastic as fuck.
