Not Adele. Meagan Trainor
Well, still good for her.
Good for her why?
She put in a lot of work, looks great, and from the sounds of it is happier with her body. Seems positive to me.
It's odd how many celebrities were suddenly able to put in the work right after ozempic became popular
I have a comrade who was only able to put in the work because some forms of Ozempic help your blood sugar. They also take off the first lbs and then he was able to exercise; he could not do so before because of back and joint pain. I’ve no idea of her personal story but just remember that next time
And I am 100% happy for her. I just wish she hadn't spent so many years telling us how beautiful we were and didn't need to change only to change so she could feel beautiful.
I mean, I’m going to be real, as someone who has been a body positivity advocate who has also lost 190 pounds for my health, it’s really frustrating to see people act like the advocacy someone did in the past is suddenly meaningless because that someone is no longer in a plus sized body.
She was never overweight though. Now she just had a permanent drug induced eating disorder.
I understand she was never overweight, but according to body standards in her lifetime, she was plus sized. You do not know why someone is making choices for their body. I’m not her biggest fan, I am not supporting every choice she’s ever made. i made a very specific point, and I stand by it.
Also saying she has a permanent drug induced eating disorder is….a choice. That’s incredibly loaded language.
That’s what it does. It gives you an eating disorder and you have to stay on it for life to keep your eating disorder so you stay thin. Literally how the drug operates.
