People seems to be reacting to this version differently than they did to previous versions. What substantive long term impact that has, if any, it is probably too soon to know.
The problem with using that as a metric is that we already know PR firms are able to influence perception of public opinion, and Newsom has plenty of reason to have hired a firm in order to artificially boost his approval online, especially following the podcast betrayals
