I do understand that I have nothing but my own anectdotal experience to base my optimism on. I cannot begin to imagine what you and your family, as educators, have to endure.

Darn, I wish we had the possibility of editing our posts for bad grammar. Speaking of editing, I better get back to the work in progress. It isn’t going to write itself. Keep posting positive comments & insights. I will check back in at the end of the day. I am loving bluesky.

Also, I love hearing that your family is one that thrives. The younger members of my family continue to teach our best hope for the future. I am happily retired now in the south of France, writing and watching the chaos with a certain amount of Hope that the country of my birth will right itself.

I agree, a conversation should not be a battle. Sadly, certain public figures have influenced many to attack anything that doesn’t match their beliefs. It’s nice to find a community here where people can exchange ideas without the rancor.
