What if we had all the blue states declare states of emergency to protect their interests? That was the original purpose of state air and army national guards. States Rights.

Blue state here and I agree, don’t you @governor.ny.gov? Maybe it’s a false sense of safety, but right now I feel safer in my blue state than I do when I travel to a red state.

Here's another angle: Blue States declare an emergency due to the possibly that the federal government will take over their National Guard, which were created to protect states from a rouge federal government.
