Whenever in my lifetime, a lawmaker, a public servant had been assassinated, every siting president, regardless of party, would have attended their funeral, expressed condolences to the family, tried to comfort them, their community and the country. I really miss that grace, that compassion

President Biden came to MN, met with MN State Senator Hoffman and his family in the hospital. He attended the public visitation at the MN State Capital as well as the funeral where he was joined by VP Harris. I miss having a decent person in the WH.

Agreed. She is an amazing compassionate person who always had the people of our state of Minnesota and our country as her priority. She always attended my events and she was always a great person who truly loved being a public servant. Not a politician. We definitely miss her.
