To me inexcusable that during the Rwandan genocide, Pope John Paul didn’t go to Rwanda. In 100 days, hundreds of thousands were slaughtered. Catholics all Most Gazans aren’t Catholic but are God’s children- our brothers & sisters. The children are our babies. . If i were Pope i would go to Gaza.

Tragically security needs for someone like a Pope make it more risky than it’s worth. Regional tribal religious wars have been going on since pre-civilization. It’s unconscionable how wars due to hatred/bigotry/greed for power continue today in so many places around the world.
