The problem is the media's approach. They portray the reality in Gaza as a "hoax". Haarez is the only newspaper that reports the reality in Gaza. But, their readership is very low. Thus, most of the population is in the dark as to the extent of the horror in Gaza.

I don't disagree. However, Israelis are extremely media savvy. They get their news from other sources. Also. The Israelis in the diaspora (Europe, Canada, and the US) surly inform friends and relatives as to the situation. In addition, many Israelis politically do not support the extreme right wing.
