There are lawmakers and citizens in this country who think having an assault weapon is more important than the life of a child.

As a veteran I can tell you there is no reason for a private citizen to own an assault weapon. They are useless for hunting, horrible for personal protection. They are designed for, and best suited for killing people in combat situations.

Yes, Republican lawmakers and ammosexuals love, Love, LOVE assualt weapons more than children. Reminder . . . Every Democratic Congressperson voted for the assault weapon ban and against weapon manufacturer immunity. Republicans lapsed the weapons ban and gave immunity to gun manufacturers.
