Thank you for this!! Cartoons like this feed the ignorance that others have - governors are executives & thus have more power, especially if they also have Dem AGs and Legislatures. As you say, Congressional Dems don't have much power at all in the minority. So tired of explaining this to people.

That is true in the House - though Jeffries could at least say more and use his voice and visibility more than he does. I used to write about the Senate and I can tell you as a matter of fact that Schumer could be doing more - he just isn't.

republicans aren't even offering more legislation than they have to, so not much happening in either side of Congress. There just isn't a valid comparison between a state executive and any member of Congress in the minority party.
