The other day at #Goodwill I had a cashier that was on the phone the whole transaction, but using an earbud; so naturally I kept asking "what?" And she kept pointing to her ear to let me know she wasn't talking to me. THE PERSON IN FRONT OF HER. I'M the silly one for interrupting her call? Pfft.
Lol, I just encountered that very same thing. At first I thought the guy was just talking to himself and being weird. Then he moved his hair and I saw the earbud 😂
Our generation has been beaten so much that we don't even want the people in front of us to talk to us; we'd rather stare at a screen. The end is very fucking nigh. Soon, we'll leave the planet to these devices, they will carry on until their power is out, then it will be like we were never here.
