i always love pixel food, but my fave is the bismuth. it is so cool how you articulated the steps and the rainbowy colours!

Thanks! That one was a real challenge! 😤
I like the little oasis, the bismuth, and the giraffe. Your animals are such cute lil' guys! Soft spot for the toucan, too. And the little ship! Ahh, they're really precious and nicely-done. Even the broccoli, you can see the texture in it so well. All the food always looks great! 😋❤️
Thanks so much, what a lovely comment 😌
LOVE all the animals. Makes me want to make a zoo game 😂

Column 7, Row 10. Those gems in the earth are my favorite.
😁
So many to choose from, although I'll have to pick bismuth, snail, cinnamon and vanilla among my personal faves. The rendering is sublime!
Thank you! 🙏
All are fantastic but garlic, cashew, tomato call to me. I know that one person on other app dissed ur cashew but imo best pixel cashew ever seen rendered- by a country mile
Oh thanks so much! It’s an honor to hear that because cashew is my favorite nut 😁
Nice! But but but but cashew nut is a fruit!
Yeah technically I guess but it comes in the jar of mixed nuts and that makes most sense in my mind 😂
Always love seeing how you render different objects! I'm a fiend for gemstone rendering, personally.
I love these because I can only picture them as like RuneScape inventory icons. “Dude what’s in your character’s inventory, is that… an owl and an entire god damn pirate ship?” well done. My favourite is definitely the water melon slices they look tasty as hell.
Ohhh haha these were designed as map icons to indicate the presence of a resource. Glad you like them! 😁
Makes total sense :)
All of them are awesome!! I love the penguin and the squid 🐙

They are so charming and nostalgic! Loving the minerals, especially the opal and bismuth!
Thanks! The opal and bismuth were two of the most challenging but satisfying ones to create 😁
Everything looks so so cool, my favorites are the animals and the crystals they look so majestic, but also, the pitaya fruit is my absolutely favorite it kinda makes me want to keep it in a exposition or somewhere prominent
Ohh that’s so awesome to hear, thank you 😁
The rocks. All. Of. The. Rocks. The opal. And all the purble stuff.
Man… you really lost the plot where this was supposed to be basic resources for a time management-type game huh. Awesome.
They are resources for a turn based strategy game like Civilization 3 (I even put them into the game as a mod) 😁
Yeah, I just remember back when you first started this. I don’t think anyone expected the sprite sheet to get this… lengthy. It was the bare essentials at first and then oil and dye and dish and… wellp. Whoever in the mod is trading for capybara tho’ is based. 👍
*fish (🐟 💢) And then you started breaking out the minerals and personally that was about where I got lost, mostly. Looking at pixelated shinies.
This is now available on my itch page! mirrutatep.itch.io/200-32x32-de...
I like the consistency, e.g. the fact that all quadrupedal animals (and also most birds and some others) are depicted at roughly the same angle.
Yeah that definitely makes it look cohesive. Really I did that to maximize the amount of visual information I could communicate to distinguish them from eachother. Also the canvas size I chose is small for animals!
Very true, and I think that you did a splendid job with all of them! I mean, the giraffe must have been mighty hard at that size. The result is so clean and easily distinguishable, to the point that the brain may believe to see details that can't actually be there for real.
Yeah the giraffe was a challenge for sure. To fit with the size constraints I remember making an effort to make him skinnier to appear “taller” despite using the same canvas 😁
these are awesome, its so hard to pick favorites when they are all great, I think if I had to pick, I like Steel Girder, Owl, and Grapes best!
Thanks so much!
I think for this one-besides all the pretty food I really like the sunflower here
😁
I really like the bounce light on the jugs in the middle!
Oh thank you! 🙏 this project brought me such a variety of shapes to explore
Oyster!
😁
The watermelon icon is my favourite. No idea why.
It’s one of my own favs too 😁
Toucan! The opal is very good too
Thanks! Glad my bird is enjoyable to you 😁
The buffalo and the EMU are so cute!
Thanks!
Coffee beans, mushroom and cinnamon are my favourites but they're all so good!
Thanks so much! 🙏
excellent work all around, but the clustering and tastefully subtle rim light on that pear is truly something to see
Oh thank you! 🥹
omg I just noticed the blueberry, that's so perfect
the bear, cashew, and gems are my favourites
Thank you, glad you like them! 🙌
i love the logs and the leaves. the way they're piled and bunched looks so dynamic in such a small space!
Thanks! It’s fun to come up with ways to make pretty ordinary items look more interesting 😆
