I just came in from watering the deck planters and refilling the bird bath. It's amazing how after the rainy late winter, spring, and through July we had so much rain and now everything is bone dry. No rain until (big) maybe mid-week. Watch, when company comes in September we'll have a deluge.
I’m vigilant with the birdbath too. It’s a popular spot these days.
We have deer come up and drink. Does, fawns, a stag or two. I don’t know if the bear also stops by. The night visitors! So every morning I go out on the deck, check it out, and take the hose to refill.
I refill ours every morning too.
