NOT a defense of KB, who is ofc reprehensible. But I took them at 15 at my US school, just signed up & showed up. Then took 3 of the "achievement" tests at 16 at a high school on a US army base in Europe (not my school, stepped foot there just the once). Nothing like that in the UK, I imagine.
Badenoch's claim of admission on basis of SATs is nonsense. W her grades--"B in biology, B in chemistry & D in maths"--even w a fab essay & as a world champion chess player or top-seeded athlete(which she was NOT),she wouldn't have gotten into any top 100 US liberal arts university. Pants on fire!!
