They cut the heart out of FEMA, then get hacked, wonder why and then villainize the remaining cyber staff with words like dishonest , failure, neglect, incompetence. Cybersecurity is hard but achieveable. But if you fire your cybersecurity staff you can expect problems. No leadership no support.

Yup and that can only raise the operational risk. Shortsighted approach, much like all the other federal cuts in the last 7 months.
