So, what about U.S. Attorney Alexander Acosta who negotiated Epstein's plea agreement in Florida? The Palm Beach Police Dept began investigating Epstein's sex abuse of minors in 2005. A Grand Jury indicted him, but the Chief believed the charge did not address the totality of his conduct.
