We lost faith when it was shown again and again that hard work does NOT lead to economic success.
This whole thing where Trump stakes out both sides of an issue in rapid succession is turning into his go-to move.
Doubtful that concern is on this President's radar.
So much winning, amirite?
I worked for 25 years since the age of 14. The most money I ever made a year was when I was a driver for call girls and when I went on disability in 2021. I'm still poor and border on poverty. If working hard most of your life made you rich I wouldn't need disability.
The American dream is dead. If there ever was one.
Hard work has never led to economic gains, at least not in my lifetime since 68. It's how well you schmooze, not how well you work or how much you work. I'm making the same thing I was making 10 years ago. Entry-level in my field makes less than what I was paid at entry-level 30 years ago.
