So DXC Technology, then? Why are we still pouring money into the US when they impose tariffs on our exports, insult us and refuse to fulfil their Five Eyes obligations?

It’s a legacy product that was originally developed by a British company who were bought by Hewlett Packard and then it seems they’ve been sold off to a different company. RAF Typhoons used AMPA in the past before switching to a better system called SCEPTRE. www.baesystems.com/en/product/s...
There’s probably only one type of aircraft left in the RAF inventory that still uses AMPA going off that amount of cash. Tornado used it before retirement and one of the rotary types but I can’t remember which one.
Sounds like a sensible way to piss money away.
