You’re right that trump didn’t invent them. But he did escalate them. Naming him isn’t erasing history. It’s confronting who gave the specific order this time. If we want to break grim norms, we have to stop normalizing them with vague language like “the United States.”
It isn't normalizing, it's being accurate & taking responsibility. America has done this. The USA, as a nation. The government, elected by its people, has created this mess. These are American problems. This is an American war. Those are American bombs, dropped by the United States of America.
