Congress gave FEMA $608M for "migrant support". trump’s FEMA wants the money to build detention camps. Because “support” is vague, and cruelty is policy. This money could shelter the unhoused, feed kids, or wipe out medical debt. But apparently cages are cheaper than compassion.
