In terms of treatment, the US is actually better than Canada. One thing many FS can agree on. Besides, the matter is personal to me as an indigenous man. I would rather Greenland's Inuits be under American control than European neglectful mother.

Unless you're a Greenlander I would suggest their opinion matters more than yours. How do incomes, education, health outcomes and the like compare between Greenland and reservations on US territory?

American control is better than being left to rot by a Euro. As for the rez quality, it all depends on which one. Some fair better than others and certain regions are terrible. Compare the Southwest or the Northeast for example. But in general they suck. Hence why most build lives away from them

America leaves entire cities to rot. Why do reservations suck if American control is so much better? Greenlanders have issues with Danish rule but that doesn't mean they fancy being subjects of the orange menace.

Rez suck for many reasons: Poverty, domestic abuse, sloth, little investment, tribal laws, the Dawes Act, state/fed, citizens not exercising more agency than they could, racism between tribes.... American cities are a different case. Tho i don't know what you mean by left to rot.

He's only interested in Greenland so he can strip it for mineral wealth and have control over the Arctic. He's putting people in concentration camps in the US. Greenland would absolutely not be treated better under US control.

We may think that, but there may be some in greenland who disagree. Plus they know trump wants the territory, some may seek to get concessions/guarantees for that to happen. It's not a far fetched idea, though a bad one IMO

Greenland is semi-autonomous: Denmark basically has as much say in their governance as the Greenlanders allow (not much). But better to cede their land to the Great White Father, and watch Americans steal everything not nailed down? Did that work out well for your people?

Our land was not stolen actually. It was lost in war when Cornwallis surrendered. As of right now, the Greenlanders really don't seem to own their land if Denmark has the final say on whether to keep her colonial legacy. Greenland COULD be independent, ideally.
