I’ve tried and tried to get myself banned, but it’s such a cesspool now, you can say literally anything and not be banned. So I just deleted my account.
I didn't really notice the bad stuff on Twitter/X, and didn't leave because people disagreed with me. I left for broadly the same reasons I don't buy from Amazon, don't own a Tesla, don't bank with a rapacious bank, avoid supermarkets. I try to be an ethical consumer. I like quiet, so here suits me.
There’s a number of journalists that have a contractually required amount of Twitter engagement. One of the espn people said they were required to have like 5 posts a day trying to generate traffic. They were specifically only doing the minimum now and striking it for their next contract. 🤷♂️

💀 The fascism isn't getting worse just cause people are posting work links. Economy is too shit to judge paying customers. I left Twitter cause of the Zoophilia. That was my last straw. Seeing people make out with their actual real life pets.
Some of my favourite tweeters didn’t move over here and I missed them so I went back to X where I do a quick round up every day. Chastise away guys, I’ll do what I want. “Gets added to list” 😬
