It is probably going to take some violence, either now or later. If later, it's going to take more violence. Is America ready to see itself in another civil war? Because that's what the Republican Confederates have in mind.

No matter how illegal or unConstitutional those orders may be, people who go into the military & law enforcement don't tend to be people who disobey them! We need to face reality NOW, not later. or the end of democracy & the beginnings of an authoritarian police state. It's pretty clear what those in power are going for. We can't assume that there will be a fair & free election in 2026 & thus hopes for a course correction. The Democrats, except for a few, have been feckless at best.

I could not agree more. Check out electiontruthalliance.org and Greg Palast's website for in-depth information on the 2024 election. We certainly cannot assume there will be a free, fair and secure election in 2026 or after, unless these issues are addressed, along with any new tRUmp power grabs.

tRump et al have used a combination of non-stop lies & executive orders designed to revoke hard won rights, destroy the Federal government, & smooth the authoritarian remaking of America. We, the people, need to create the same chaos for the authoritarians. We need to out in the streets.

We need country wide work stoppages, massive letter writing campaigns & actions the terrified 4th Estate can't ignore & might actually report on. Does America have the stomach for what needs to be done? Or will America will sink into a fascist hellhole with very little resistance?
