González: "So who is going to be enforcing who can use the bathroom?" Middleton: "That's up to the city, the agency." González: "So they have to be the potty police."

Someone stands and shouts: Trans People Are Not The Problem!!! Burrows gavels: "If they are further disruptions, the Sargent at Arms will clear the gallery."

González continues, wondering how someone will prove that they are in the right bathroom. Middleton: That's not an issue. González: "It *is* an issue. It's happened to me personally."

Another rep stands up for questions. I'm sorry I don't know who it is. "What does 'every reasonable steps' mean for political subdivisions and state agencies?"

Middleton, like in the House hearing, continues to struggle a bit describing her own bill. Rep: Wouldn't a private citizen be able to sue to change the reasonable steps? Middleton: Yes.

Rep: Are you aware that certain political subdivisions are targeted by the state? And have you considered that? Middleton: No. Rep: Have you visited or talked to any political subdivisions? Middleton: No.

Rep: "This bill does nothing to make my wife or daughters safer. And i make it a point to say I'm a Christian. Because we have heard from. faith leaders across the state who have testified against this bill. We have had one 1000 business testify against these bills."

Rep points out that the bathroom puts a target on visitors' backs at airports "just because they look different." "Who should decide who is not a woman? Well, this bill puts big government in that role."
