We will one day need Ukraine and the rest of Europe just as Ukraine needs all of us now. The world order has changed and we need to have as many ally’s as possible.

This is exactly what PM Carney’s is doing. He may not be saying it out loud, but it’s all in a plan.

Yes. He’s always been open about more reliable trade partners and security/defence but no world leaders are saying out loud that they’re treating this with urgency specifically because NATO has become unreliable if not unusable now.

PM Carney is out working on relationships, trade or otherwise, and protecting democracy. 👍

I notice that all the deals are comprehensive. We’re more used to seeing fragmented deals and his vision is much bigger.

So true. I didn't even listen to Cross Country Check Up today on CBC. So tired of folks critiquing without knowing what's going on behind closed doors and what the bigger plans are.
